COMEDIENNE and vocalist Sue Sweeney is well known to BBC Radio Newcastle listeners for her quirky brand of selfdeprecating Northern humour. Sue, from Durham, burst on to the circuit after a successful 20-year run as a vocalist. She is the only woman ever to win North East Comedy Artiste of the Year from the County Durham Concert Secretary Association.
Sue will share the stage with renowned comedian Alan Fox as part of a new comedy tour that hits the Lamplight Arts Centre in Stanley on Friday, November 27, followed by an evening at the Playhouse Whitley Bay on November 29.See the full content of this document
