In a deliberate attempt to reduce a future skills shortfall and recognise the craftsmanship and knowledge of thousands of workers nationally, leading quality kitchen manufacturer Grange Interiors has become the first organisation to pioneer and deliver a new training course specifically designed for the industry.

Focusing on health and safety and incorporating modules such as communication and power tools skills, North Shields-based Grange Interiors has worked closely with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) to create and develop the framework and content of the new NVQ (level 2) kitchen installations learning programme.
