At least 22 people were killed in bombings and shootings in Iraq yesterday after a weekend of attacks left more than 130 people dead.
The latest bombings killed four people at a Baghdad bus station serving the Shiite Sadr City enclave and four others waiting to refill propane cooking gas canisters in south Baghdad's dangerous Dora neighbourhood. Among the other incidents was a roadside bomb which struck a police patrol in a predominantly Sunni area in Baghdad yesterday, killing four policemen and wounding three.
