ADAM Johnson is expected to play for Middlesbrough in their clash with Blackpool this evening after missing the weekend thrashing of Queens Park Rangers because of a family problem, writes LUKE EDWARDS.

Johnson has been in sensational form this season and the North East Football Writers' Young Player of the Year returned to training yesterday and is expected to go straight back into the starting line- up despite the team's impressive performance at Loftus Road.
