Summary
THIS has been an inspiring week. The unbelievable courage of the trapped Chilean miners and their government's determination to free them - a good thing as the mine employing them is close to bankruptcy - would have been enough.
But, in addition, we had Graham Miles, whose stroke left him with locked-in syndrome, unable to speak or use any part of his body except for his brain. He used that brain to will his body back to life, centimetre by centimetre. Then there was Luol Deng, who came to Britain as a five-year-old refugee from conflict in Sudan, went on to become a multi-millionaire basketball player in America, but wants to represent Britain in the Olympic Games.See the full content of this document
