YOUR columnist Paul Linford hopes for a hung parliament at the next General Election, in the expectation that this may usher in a government of national unity (The Journal, January 9).
Since none of the main parties offer realistic ideas on tackling our most pressing problem - how to tame the insatiable, and exponentially growing, national debt monster - in what way would this improve our prospects? When a nation is under attack from outside forces, it is natural for everyone to unite in the battle for survival. However, our present problem is that leading politicians of the Lib-Lab-Con - despite conscientious propaganda promoting climate alarmism and terrorism - don't offer an acceptable rallying point, and the more their policies merge into consensus, the more they are at odds with the electorate.See the full content of this document
