Chemical giant ICI has sold off another non-core asset from its ICI Paints Europe division for an undisclosed sum.

The pounds 5.8bn turnover multinational has sold its Cimsec business, with assets valued at pounds 9m, to German multinational Henkel. All the proceeds from the sale will go to paying off ICI's group debt, while the company intends focusing its efforts on its remaining paints businesses.
