AN on-the-run rap e suspect could be hiding out in the North East, it emerged yesterday. Police have made an urgent plea for help in tracing Peter Dunlop who has been charged with sex attacks on three girls, alleged to have happened 15 years ago. It is believed he could be hiding in Newcastle.
Dunlop was arrested in Febr uary on suspicion of rape, attempted rape and gross indecency, after three women contacted police alleging to have been abused by him when they were children. He was subsequently charged with the alleged attacks, which were said to have taken place over a number of years in County Durham, starting in 1994.See the full content of this document
