ATEENAGER was left traumatised after he was struck by a car in a hit-and-run incident - then attacked by an angry passenger in the vehicle.

Jamie Chapman was hit by the BMW as he crossed the road to his grandparents' home on Remembrance Sunday. His mother Clare Curry said a man travelling in the car then got out and began swearing at her 13-year-old son before picking up the terrified youngster and throwing him over a wall. Mrs Curry said: "He started shouting at Jamie and using really bad language. He asked where Jamie lived and Jamie pointed at his grandparents' house so he dragged him over to his gran's house.
