WHATEVER you think of them, if you're putting your home up for sale, you need a Home Information Pack.

The pack - or HIP - is a set of documents to provide the buyer with key information concerning a property and it must be provided by the seller or the seller's agents. It is now a legal requirement to have a HIP and if you are a seller, you cannot market your property without one.
