FOUR men who died in a helicopter crash over the North were travelling to a pheasant shoot in Scotland, police said yesterday.

The victims, including a father and son, were found by a local farmer in a field near Gatebeck, Kendal, in Cumbria, shortly before midday yesterday. The Robinson R44 aircraft set off from Carnforth, Lancashire, at about 7pm on Friday en route to Lochmaben, near Lockerbie.
