ANORTHUMBERLAND grain co-operative is investing in new drying equipment and storage space after receiving almost pounds 750,000 in funding to upgrade its facilities.

North East Grains Storage Limited at Longhirst, near Morpeth, is upgrading to a 20,000 tonne grain store and 60 tonne per hour dryer to improve the services for its 70 members.
