IAM in a green haze of runner beans at the moment. We love runner beans and so I grow them in some quantity and freeze them to enjoy throughout the rest of the year and well into the next.

Last year I read somewhere that you didn"t need to blanch the beans before freezing them. So, completely over excited that I could cut a quite considerable corner in my frozen bean production line, I froze them au naturel.
