Go-Ahead Chief to Step Down at Year End

Transport group Go-Ahead yesterday announced that chief executive Martin Ballinger is to step down after more than 30 years with the company.

The Newcastle-based plc said Mr Ballinger, 60, intends to retire at the end of December, to be replaced by his deputy, Chris Moyes, 54.
