TEN years ago, more than 1,000 Northumberland schoolchildren planted a record-breaking maze as their mark on the millennium.

And now some of today's youngsters have gone back to Doxford Hall to inspect the finished product. The yew tree maze - Britain's biggest - is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Former Doxford Hall owners Brian and Shirley Burnie organised the planning of the commemorative maze at their historic home.
