THE son of Dreamspace creator Maurice Agis was quizzed about his father's technical experience of holding events using inflatable artwork yesterday. Giles Agis told an inquest in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, that his father had 40 years' experience in inflatable structures but said he had no formal engineering qualifications.
During the third day of the hearing into the July 2006 deaths of Elizabeth Collings, 69, from Seaham and mother-of-two Claire Furmedge, 38, from Chester-le-Street, the jury was told that although Maurice Agis had consulted many engineers and architects over the years, he was an artist by profession.See the full content of this document
