Following the devastating effects of hurricane Katrina, Northumbria University has teamed up with sector skills council for construction, ConstructionSkills, to host a debate on how construction affects global warming.
The afternoon conference, for sixth form students, will consider what effect the built environment has on global warming and climate change and what positive steps the sector is taking to reduce its environmental impact.
