THE Government was last night urged to take stronger action to boost women's pay after new figures showed the gender wage gap closed by just 0.3% over the past year and actually widened in company boardrooms.
The difference between the earnings of full-time men and women closed from 17.5% to 17.2%, according to the Office for National Statistics, figures described as "shocking" by campaigners.See the full content of this document
