ATHEY (Seahouses). Suddenly but peacefully on 20th July 2009, George, aged 81 years, much loved and loving husband of Hazel (nee Robertson), adored and adoring dad of Denise, Jayne and Christine, special father in law of John, Alfie and Kerwin, devoted granda of Gary, Ryan, Kevin, Dale, Jonathan and Laura and their partners, proud granda George of Cobi, Katie, Holly, Jessica, Daniel and Rebecca and a very dear brother of Ann and Michael. Funeral Service to be held at St. Paul's Church, North Sunderland on Monday 27th July at 12.00noon, followed by cremation at Cowpen Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to National Deaf Children's Society, c/o Alan D. Haile Funeral Services. 111A Main Street, Seahouses, Northumberland. NE68 7TS.
