The families of the six Red Caps murdered by a mob in Iraq last night accused the Army of a "whitewash" following an inquiry into the deaths.

Royal Military Police Corporal Paul Long, 24, of South Shields, and Corporal Simon Miller, 21, of Washington, were among the six killed at the hands of a mob in June 2003.
