RARELY has there been such a perfect storm created in the legal profession as the problems caused by the clash of social media with so-called super injunctions.

A super-injunction relating to a footballer, referred to as CTD, has raised constitutional problems, issues about enforcement and comments in Parliament. The allegation, in broad terms, is that the judiciary is introducing a privacy law via the back door of the courts which, of course, is a gross over simplification of the circumstances.
