THERE is fresh optimism for 2,000 steelworkers at Teesside Cast Products (TCP) after the plant confirmed it has orders until the end of September. The consultation period on the future of the Redcar site has also been extended until the end of next month after the Corus-owned plant won fresh orders for the slab steel it produces.
