I'VE never been a big one for partying so, after I scored a hattrick for Newcastle in the first game I played against Sunderland, I celebrated by going home and having fish and chips.

Don't get me wrong - I loved the experience, it thrilled me to bits. But I've always been like that, it's just me. I was a non- drinker so, as the Champagne flowed at St James's Park, I was with Sandra, my wife, tucking into my tea.
