Promotion expert Carl Robinson will take nothing for granted as Sunderland attempt to cement a Premiership future after warning that a return to top-flight football is a target the Black Cats could still fail to achieve.

The Wearsiders will be followed by 7,400 expectant fans to Wigan this evening and, although triumph in a match long billed as a title decider would extend the gap between the two clubs to eight points at an advanced stage of the season, Robinson knows nothing will be settled at the JJB Stadium.
