The owner of Caffe Uno yesterday added extra topping to profits after the company involved in the bidding war for restaurant chain Ask Central gave an upbeat verdict on trading.
The Restaurant Group, which recently changed its name from City Centre Restaurants, said profits for 2003 would be up 14pc at pounds 19.2m.
