VINCE Cable this morning conceded that David Cameron could win a majority as the Liberal Democrats suffered a disappointing election night.

Speaking to The Journal, the Lib Dem deputy leader also appeared to rebuff talk of a coalition deal despite overtures from Labour. His comments came after a television exit poll said the Conservatives would win 305 seats, Labour 255 and the Liberal Democrats 61.
