BUILDER Morgan Sindall has managed to maintain its half year profits with the help of its North East operations, which expects to see its turnover grow by pounds 15m by the end of the year.
The firm, whose North East offices are in Durham, made a pre-tax profit of pounds 23.1m in the six months to June 30 2010 -a small dip from the pounds 23.9m it announced for the same period last y ear. Although revenues took a similar dip -down from pounds 1.14 billion to pounds 982m, the group's order book has increased to pounds 3.7 billion, compared with pounds 3.6billion at the same point last year.See the full content of this document
