A number of off-road bikes have been confiscated and crushed by police in South Tyneside after being ridden dangerously on pavements.
The clampdown follows a number of incidents where the small bikes were ridden at more than 40mph on footpaths in the Woodbine estate in South Shields.See the full content of this document
