FABIO Capello is flirting with the idea of taking Darren Bent to the World Cup in South Africa, although he is just as likely to break his heart as he is to start a summer romance.

Capello has taken a shine to Bent after a hugely successful first season at Sunderland which has seen the club's record signing score an incredible 25 goals for a team which finished just five places above the drop zone. But like a teenage heartthrob, the England manager's feelings are worryingly fickle.
