NEWCASTLE Eagles supremo Paul Blake has admitted the club's dominance of the British Basketball League is under threat, suggesting a new-look side was in danger of being overwhelmed this season by their resurgent rivals, writes LUKE EDWARDS.

The Eagles have been the leading side in British basketball for the last three years, but their dominance is far from assured with Blake hinting the Everton Tigers and Scottish Rocks were the best two sides in the country at this stage of the campaign.
