I AM writing to express my support for new measures in the Health Bill currently before Parliament aimed at reducing smoking among children and young people.

My husband died in his 40s having been a smoker and this is one reason why I have written to the Department of Health to support measures such as removing cigarette displays in shops and restricting or even removing cigarette vending machines.
