Alhambra Gets to the Point

Summary

SEAT is introducing its largest and most technologically advanced vehicle ever this week in the guise of the latest seven-seat Alhambra people-carrier. At more than 4.8 metres long, it looks striking with SEAT's new arrow design nose and now comes with two sliding rear doors that significantly improve practicality. Inside, seven individual seats can accommodate seven adults in genuine comfort with even third row occupants benefiting from generous knee and headroom. This latest Alhambra does away with the removable seating concept in favour of a clever new fold-flat system that sees all five second and third-row seats disappear into the car's floor. Access to the third row seats is now easy thanks to the introduction of slide-and-tilt second row seats. Total luggage volume is 2,297 litres, while even in five-seat form with just the third row folded there is 1,167 litres of load bay on offer.

Engines include 2.0-litre common rail turbodiesels of 140bhp or 170bhp plus a 1.4-litre TSI turbocharged direct injection 150bhp petrol unit.
