A FORMER teacher who would take children for rides in his Rolls- Royce is facing charges of sexually assaulting a girl and three boys dating back more than 20 years.

Ronald Heron, 57, formerly of Stakeford, near Ashington, Northumberland, who is now married and living outside the North- East, was "adored" by one of his alleged victims, a woman who is now in her 40s, Newcastle Crown Court heard yesterday.
